I admit.........I'M AN ADDICT, an Korean , Japanese & Chinese TV series, Soap and Movie JUNKIE!
.....as if you couldn't already tell I have developed a "passion" for Asian TV Series/Movies. First choice is Korean Historical Dramas. Short, 16-30 epi's are best but Dae Jo-Yeong was 163 episodes long but sooo good. I have received a tremendous education about their History, Culture, Traditions, etc., both from Ancient times to the Present. The Respect they have for one another, seniors, etc. still in Present day is astounding. Next is Romantic Comedies. The majority romances are the soft, tender, very respectful type we used to have. I have yet to see one that comes close to what would be R, 16 & over or X rating here, all are really G. I'm sure there is "language" lost in translation but you usually get the drift due to the scene situation. Closest thing to nudity was the in Coffee Prince but you never see anything, it's brief shoulders and all under the covers. It also touches on the delicate subject of sexuality in a rather unusual manner but excellent good taste. Got so into them, I have started purchasing DVD's online (and even an all area DVD player to accommodate those with English translations but made for Americans living in Asia), Korean is favorite, Japanese & Chinese come next, probably have 50 or more different Series, Movies, Music Video DVD's, etc. What's a Granny to do........LOL There are so many "HOTTIES"........Makes for very Pleasant viewing!

Mostly Classical......but like also enjoy some New Age, Instrumentals are my thing, not much for "singers" but will give into a little "Frank" once in a while....
